Located on the grassy plains
of Northeast Oklahoma, and begun in 1983 as a strictly large animal clinic,
Pecan Drive Veterinary Services has continually
tried to offer the finest in technologies, diagnostics and service to enhance
the well-being and productivity of the area's horses, cattle and other
ruminants.
Our veterinarians at the clinic,
Dr. John L. Myers and Dr. Crystal K. Newman, are well recognized within
the profession as award-winning practitioners intent on offering the highest
quality care to all of the animals within their practice. These doctors
have integrated ultrasonography, radiology, embryo transfer and artificial
insemination in economical and useful manners to enhance the reproduction
and profitability of the specific species upon which they work. Their clinic
features a U.S.D.A. approved Coggins (Equine Infectious Anemia) laboratory,
plus a complete in-house facility for blood, urine, culture and semen diagnostics.
A cattle and horse working facility with equipment for specific treatments
is located in rural Vinita, Oklahoma, as well as facilities for hospitalization
and board for the species upon which they work.
