What to do in the event of a Structure fire.
 

• Remain Calm.
• If you choose to fight a small fire, do so very rapidly.  You don't have very much time, no more than 1 (one) minute.
• When you must exit the structure, make sure everyone is out.
• Go to the designated meeting place and make sure everyone is there.
• Do not go back in the Structure.
• Call 911, from a neighbors telephone - Tell the dispatcher that you have a fire and give all the information you can as to what is on fire.
• When firefighters arrive, give them information as to what is on fire and where the fire is.  Remember, they probably have never been in your residence.  So give them directions as to how to get through your house.  But remember DO NOT GO BACK IN. They will tell you when it is safe to go back inside.
